Cheryl's catchy comeback tune 'Crazy Stupid Love' has soared straight to number one in the charts, but it turns out the song was never meant to be hers.
It was another beloved pop princess, none other than Kylie Minogue, who was offered the hit song, and she even managed to record the hit, before her management persuaded her to drop it from her album.
Bet she regrets that now.

Kylie recorded the hit single before Cheryl (WENN)
Speaking to The Sun, an insider revealed, "Kylie recorded the track with songwriter Wayne Wilkins and loved it. But Roc Nation felt it was too pop. They wanted her tracks to have a cool R&B edge."
And luckily for Cheryl, the song came her way a few months later and she decided to put her own stamp on it.
"She knew she had to have it but decided to re-write a lot of the verses to make it her own, and that's why she has a writing credit. It was also her idea to get Tinie Tempah to rap on it," the insider continued.

And whilst Kylie has a string of hits under her belt, with her latest album, Kiss Me Once, failing to make a big impression in the charts, the insider revealed that she is "not exactly happy", with the way things turned out.
Oh dear.
