One Direction heart-throb Liam Payne has fuelled speculation he has split from girlfriend Sophia Smith after a string of cryptic tweets.
The 20-year-old singer appeared to be lovelorn and regretting a break-up given the nature of his Tweets, written in the early hours of Friday morning.
Speculation over Liam and Sophia's nine-month romance started last week after the pop star wrote 'how lonely hotel rooms are' and he mentioned Drake's break-up song Doing It Wrong.

He further fuelled rumours during a tweeting session in Santiago, Chile at 3am (local time) following the band's gig at few hours earlier.
The Wolverhampton-native wrote: 'Can't be without you...
'Worse thing I ever did was let you go...
'No (sic) all I got left is the thought of you.'

The couple were public with their relationship last August, a few months after Liam split from long-term girlfriend Danielle Peazer, 25, that April, who he had met on the X Factor back in 2010.
Liam went to school with Sophia at St. Peter's Collegiate School in Wolverhampton and is appeared they had quickly got serious with each other.
In August, Liam flew Sophia to 1D's concert in Los Angeles, where she was spotted sitting in the audience with Liam's parents, Geoff and Karen, and his two sisters, Ruth and Nicola.
They were last photographed together at a book launch in London just over five weeks ago.

If Liam and Sophia have broke up, it comes as they would have spent long periods apart as One Direction have just started off their world tour.
The Where We Are tour kicked off on April 25 in Colombia and is due to finish in October after taking in 69 dates across South and North America and Europe.
Liam and the boys are due to travel to Argentina this weekend ahead of their gig in Buenos Aires on Saturday.
