Angelina Jolie has been surrounded by Cleopatra rumours for a while now, but the actress has finally confirmed that she is in talks to play the lead role in the flick.
In the upcoming big screen version of the movie, Jolie told BBC Radio 5 Live that different ideas have been being thrown around, confirming that the script is good to go.
The actress, who is currently promoting her latest movie Maleficent, said: "We've been working on it … there's been lots of different ideas of directors and lots of different discussions … the script has been written."
We're not quite sure when the 38-year-old could have found time to have discussions about an upcoming flick, with her schedule being none-stop recently.
She is currently continuing to promote Maleficent and has gone into interview over-load in terms of chatting about the newly released Disney movie that has had everybody talking for months now.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times about her evil character, Ange admits that princesses were too fluffy when she was growing up.
"For little girls like me, when we didn't have the modern Disney we have today, we had a lot of princesses that didn't have the strength," she said. "They had a sweetness ... but not necessarily a power and a sense of self that was very strong."
"When I was little, [seeing Maleficent] was like when you look at Marlene Dietrich for the first time. She was so elegant and so strong, and seemed to be having a great time. She always seemed ... like she had a secret, like something else was going on and you couldn't get close enough to her to know what that was, and so she remained a mystery."
