Georgia May Foote was waiting to film an upcoming scene for Coronation Street when she reportedly collapsed on Friday.
The 23-year-old - who plays Katy Armstrong in the ITV soap - was rushed to hospital by ambulance after her costars on set at Salford's Media City raised the alarm, the Daily Star has said.
Paramedics are thought to have spent 30 minutes with the actress before taking her to the nearby Hope Hospital as a 'precaution'.

An ITV insider told the newspaper: 'Everyone was really worried about Georgia. She's not the kind of person who likes to make a fuss and will always get on with her work even if she's under the weather.
'Corrie is like a family so naturally people are concerned. Hopefully after a rest over the weekend she will be back to her normal self next week', they added.
The former Grange Hill star, who has played single mum Katy for four years, was thought to have been taken home to recover later that same day.

She had taken to Twitter just hours before the incident, posting a photo of a tempting, sweet treat.
Georgia commented: 'So I come in our dressing room and find this little chocolaty number on Brooke's dressing table? Breakfast?', making reference to her costar Brooke Vincent.
The star's funny turn comes just two week after it was announced her character would be axed from the show.

She said at the time: 'I was a bit gutted that leaving Corrie wasn't my decision – it's like a boyfriend dumping you first - but I'm really excited.
'If anything, it's given me that kick I needed to move on to other things', the Daily Mirror reported.
Georgia, whose character reportedly won't be killed off, also said her exit at the end of the year would be 'a very emotional time'.
