The show must go on...
Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik of One Direction returned to the stage on Wednesday after creating a whirlwind of controversy due to a leaked video of the two members smoking a joint.
Other than the fact the show was filled with cold weather and rain, One Direction continued their tour in Sunderland on Wednesday without a hitch.

Other than thanking the fans for their support, neither Louis nor Zayn made any reference to the controversy while on stage. Band mate Liam Payne did poke fun about the incident prior to the show however.
"Right everybody concert time let's try and keep the pg rating lol for Christ sake somebody help me restore sanity," he tweeted.

This comes after a video of the two members smoking a hand rolled cigarette and using controversial language surfaced on Tuesday. Louis Tomlinson filmed the video, while he and Zayn make references to the joint.
"So here we are, leaving Peru. Joint lit. Happy days," Louis says at the beginning of the video.

He then appears to reference marijuana also known as "Mary J" when he jokes about Zayn's warm up rituals prior to a show.
"One very very important factor of Zayn's warm up of course is Mary J herself. In fact, I will present it to him now for some fantastic singing," Louis stated.

A rep for One Direction has since commented on the matter stating that, "This matter is in the hands of our lawyers."
However, the damage might have already been done as some fans are outraged with the boy band and are ripping up their tickets according to MTV.
