Ellen DeGeneres sure knows how to poke fun at aspects of popular culture, and she's done it again by tweeting a hilarious photo of herself on Friday.
The daytime talk show queen took to her twitter to post a photo of the Angelina Jolie Maleficent poster, however, it had Ellen's face superimposed on Angelina's face, red lipstick and all.

Using it as an opportunity to nominate herself for a sequel, she joked that she should play the role instead.
"I have an idea for a sequel. Just throwing it out there," she wrote along with the hilarious photo.
It was perfect timing, as she released the photo on the same day as the release of the new Maleficent film in theaters.
Despite it being a joke, it wouldn't be a surprise if Ellen did indeed want to star in a sequel as the movie premiere turned out to be a huge success with thousands of fans turning up to see Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in Hollywood on Wednesday.

The couple looked exquisite as they both wore all black, with Angelina wearing a stunning strapless leather dress, and Brad wearing an all black suit.
