The opening was as bombastic as ever, but this week the talent was a little mediocre. That doesn't mean there weren't some standout performances though, at both ends of the spectrum! Here are the best and worst auditions from tonight's show…
Best
Patsy May
It says a lot when the most enjoyable act is a puppet. But the little blue Patsy May was able to poke fun at herself, the judges and 'Anton Dec' ("he must be French") during her comedy-singing audition. Her rendition of Dream A Little Dream Of Me was full of hilarious quips, winning her four yes's from the judges. Amanda wanted to see "the dark blue side" of the likeable puppet – we'd like to see who's pulling the strings!

REAformed
No doubt these three young girls have talent, offering some decent soulful vocals in their performance of Kiki Dee's I've Got The Music In Me. Yet having only been together for three months, they felt a little underdeveloped and lacked polish. We're not sure they'd make it had this been X Factor, but Alesha saw their potential (owing to her own girl group background) and pressed the golden buzzer.
Kieran Lai
We've seen a lot of dance acts on BGT over the years, but Kieran's performance as The Tinman was particularly impressive. That he's just 17 years old and taught himself his robotic dancing watching YouTube videos is even more impressive. "Absolutely out of this world" praised David as Kieran sailed through with four yes's.
Jack Pack
These gentlemen were certainly the mother's favourite – what more could you want but four good-looking handymen crooning out That's Life? By day they're gardeners, oven cleaners and more; by night they're a swing boyband. Oozing charm, their vocals were strong both individually and in harmony. The UK's answer to Michael BublĂ©? Quite possibly.
Eva Iglesias
Forty year old Eva felt that this audition was her last chance to be a singer and almost didn't make the audition having recently split up from a relationship. Yet she sang Aretha Franklin's Natural Woman with passion and determination. As David said, "it was like your life depended on it". Definitely one to watch.

Worst
Osiris Young
It's never pretty when someone storms off the stage, even if it is after only two buzzers. Yet Osiris' singing and contemporary dance performance of Coldplay's Sparks was more than a little odd and had the judges in stitches. No one was more relieved than Alesha though – the inspiration behind his act, she just didn't know what to say.
Jenson Zhu
"The worst impressions I've ever seen" said Simon. But Jenson was so bad he was good. Using some low budget wigs, he did the Bee Gees ("When I sing in falsetto I feel like I have lost my testicles"), Elvis ("Sorry I don't look like Elvis because it's genetically impossible") and a pretty shocking Godfather. He was hilarious, but the other three judges voting him into the next round may have been a step too far.
Alexander
Alexander wanted to "rock this stage so hard the guys on the space station hear it". Enthusiasm can't make up for bad singing though and his rendition of Bon Jovi's It's My Life was truly terrible. Still, even leaving the stage he was revving up the audience, despite being met by a wall of silence.
