There has been no change in the status of Joan Rivers over the past couple days.
Which is, sadly, not a good sign for the 81-year old comedian.
Rivers stopped breathing during throat surgery on Thursday and was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City for treatment.
She remained in serious condition there and was then placed on life support over the weekend, as machines are now responsible for the star's breathing and her family will be forced to make a critical decision some time this week.
Joan Rivers on Life Support: Will She Survive?
They said on Saturday that they're hopeful Rivers will pull through once she is taken off life support.
In a new brief statement yesterday, meanwhile, daughter Melissa Rivers said she and her relatives are "keeping our fingers crossed" when it comes to her mother's fate.
The Fashion Police host's daughter added that she's grateful for the well wishes, saying on Friday:
"My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world. Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery."
This is a selfie the Internet could have done without. Ray J snapped it of himself and Joan Rivers in bed.
Joan Rivers was placed in a medically-induced coma on Thursday and remains in that state as we type.
"She is resting comfortably and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers," Melissa said at the time.
