Cara Delevingne's acting career has really taken off recently and after making an appearance in Anna Karenina, as well as starring in upcoming movies, The Face Of An Angel and Pan, the model of the moment is now rumoured to be "in talks" to play the lead in Zoolander 2, alongside BFF Suki Waterhouse.
Cara has been taking the acting world by storm recently, but with the majority of her parts being more on the serious side so far, sources have now said that she's been speaking to Ben Stiller to appear in the sequel to his 2001 much-loved movie, to take her movie career to the next level.
"Ben and producers want a big-name model for the film and they need to be jokers and full of natural comedy," a source told The Sun. "They've been closely following Cara and her antics during the past couple of years. They are still working out what the exact role will be but it's likely to include a lot of goofing around."

And according to the insiders, Cara is definitely up for this, they continued: "Everything Cara's done has been super serious and worthy but her agents think it's time she spread her wings. It could be the role to make her name in the US. Initial meetings have taken place with the agents but now Ben wants to meet Cara and work out if their chemistry is good."
With the premise of the movie being to poke fun at models, Cara reportedly isn't the only model that producers are in talks with, with the 22-year-old also rumoured to be joined on set by showbiz BFF Waterhouse. How exciting!
"Zoolander 2 will be casting a lot of models because the producers want to make it bigger and better than the first film," the source also said. "They will be scouting for the original big-name supermodels to be involved but they're very aware that there are not a lot of models who can act. Suki and Cara could be exactly what the film needs to ensure it's a box-office hit," the insider concluded.
