Heading down to V Festival this weekend? With headline sets from Justin Timberlake and The Killers amongst others, we wouldn't blame you.

The action is held across two venues, Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park just outside Birmingham on Saturday August 17 and Sunday August 18. If you've been too busy to look into, which bands are on and which days, then fear not, we wouldn't want you to miss a minute.

Virgin Media Stage

Headliner: Justin Timberlake

Other acts: Ed Sheeran, Example, Bastille, Kaiser Chiefs, Tom O'Dell.

Don't miss: Kodaline are playing early on this stage, the group are quickly climbing the gigging ranks and are a pretty good live show. Head down early to avoid disappointment.

MTV Stage

Headliners: Elbow

Other acts: Manic Street Preachers, Miles Kane. John Newman, The Wailers

Don't miss: Blondie, Debbie Harry and co are on just before the Manics and after Miles Kane, another good shout for the weekend. Who doesn't love a bit of Blondie? Sure to be a good live gig and sure to attract a good crowd.

Arena Stage

Headliners: Alesso

Other acts: Janelle Monae, The Human League, Above and Beyond,

Don't miss: All Saints and Foxes are on really early, if you want a Pure Shores fix, don't miss out.

Futures Stage

Headliners: Alex Claire

Other acts: Birdy, Hoodie Allen, The Strypes, Icona Pop, Josh Record

Don't miss: Birdy, she's on just before Alex Clare and is a great singer songwriter talent.

Glee Comedy stage

Alan Carr, Paul Chowdhry, Dapper Laughs.

Headliner: The Killers

Other acts: Paolo Nutini, Lilly Allen, Rudimental, Train, Chic feat Nile Rodgers

Don't miss: Rudimental were hugely popular last year at the festival which might explain why they've been moved to the main stage, so get their early if you want to see them.

MTV Stage

Headliners: Axwell Ingrosso Other acts: Tinie Tempah, Jason Derulo, Rizzle Kicks, Katy B, Sam Smith

Don't miss: Sam Smith is on quite early in the day, he's basically the new Adele and it's probably going to be a popular shout.

Arena Stage

Headliners: Chase and Status

Other acts: Sub Focus, Rita Ora, Ceelo Green, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott, Nina Nesbitt

Don't miss: Ella Eyre, who you'll know from Rudimental is going it alone, she's worth checking out. As is Jhene Aiko, who is being tipped for next year.

Futures Stage

Headliners: Embrace Other acts: Howling Bells, Goldie Lookin Chain, The Original Rudeboys, Vance Joys

Don't miss: Chloe Howl and Becky Hill are on early in the day, but are well worth a look. Glee Comedy stage: Adam Hills, Rob Beckett, Andrew Maxwell.
