So it's unsurprising that Patrick Schwarzenegger would follow in his footsteps to and have an enviable body.
The handsome star was seen celebrating Independence Day with a beach party in Malibu, accompanied by his girlfriend, on Friday.

The son of Arnold and journalist Maria Shriver donned a tight-fitting pair of swim shorts for the outing.
The look allowed fellow party guests to see his impressive muscle definition and seemingly low body fat ratio, which allowed his abs to be visible.
His light brown locks were elegantly disheveled and he strolled with his brunette partner in the sun.

Patrick is one of Arnold's five children - who has four with estranged wife Maria, 58, and one child with his former maid Mildred Baena, 53.
The USC student and his mother are investors in make-your-own-pizza restaurant chain Blaze.
The pair celebrated the opening of another Blaze location on May 22 at the Original Farmer's Market in Los Angeles.

A student at University of Southern California, Patrick has also found time to follow in his father's footsteps into film.

Yet to hit cinemas is Entourage star, Kevin Connelly's directorial debut Dear Eleanor also stars Patrick in a small role with Jessica Alba, Josh Lucas and Iona Skye.
Set in the aftermath of the Cuban Missile Crisis, two teenage girls (Isabelle Fuhrman and Liana Liberato) set off cross-country in search of the former First Lady of the United States, Eleanor Roosevelt.
