Kim Kardashian Video Game Could Make $200 Million This Year!
Jul 10th 2014, 20:30, by Tyler Johnson

A Kim Kardashian video game might sound like the most ridiculous idea in the history of ever, but somehow it exists.

And as mind blowing as it might seem that anyone would have an interest in guiding a digital Kim through a busy day of whining and taking selfies, the really astonishing part of the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood app is that it will probably net Kim some major bucks.

Even though the game is a free download, analysts report that in-app purchases might generate up to $200 million this year alone.

Suddenly, Kim's video game trailer doesn't seem so ridiculous:

Actually, yeah, it still looks pretty dumb, but we're sure Kim is having the last laugh all the way to the bank.

To put the estimated profits for Kim Kardashian: Hollywood into perspective, The Simpsons: Tapped Out was one of the most popular free games of last year and it took over a year to reach $100 million in revenue.

Kim's game is expected to double that figure in even less time.

How is that possible? In short, everyone knows Kim's name.

"There's no such thing as bad publicity, right?" says industry analyst Doug Creutz. "Obviously Kim Kardashian's brand has driven people to download the game. But at this point, the game has taken on a life of its own."

Yup. Love her or hate her, there's nothing that Kim can't sell.
