Inspired by Bethany Townsend - the 23-year old Crohn's Disease patient who recently posted photos of her and her colostomy bag online - many others inflicted with this same condition are taking to the Internet. And shedding their body image concerns in the process. Crohn's is a disease that hits the digestive system, causing severe inflammation, making it difficult for one to absorb nutrients, digest food and remove waste. Often, those affected by it must wear a colostomy bag. Thanks to Townsend's bravery, many others have now posted photos of themselves on the Crohn's and Colitis UK Facebook page with the hashtag #GetYourBellyOut.
