She's yet to have children in real life but Kylie Minogue was given a quick blast of what it could be like to have a cocky twenty-something son on Monday.
The former Neighbours star, who left the soap in 1989, was left open mouthed on BBC1's The One Show, when she was shown a message from her former on screen character Charlene Robinson's son Daniel Robinson, played by actor Tim Phillips, 26.
The cheeky youngster, who is about to make his debut appearance in the popular soap in the UK, even asked Kylie, 45, to give him a call because he 'missed' her and hadn't heard from her in a while.
Overwhelmed: Kylie Minogue put her hands in the air when she realised BBC1's The One Show had got her son from Neighbours to film a message to her
Presenters Matt Baker and Alex Jones told Kylie they were about to play a clip and asked her if she recognised the voice.
'Oh hiya mum it's Daniel here,' was then heard to which Kylie laughed: 'I know where you're going with this. I don't recognise it [the voice] but…'
The famous picture of Kylie and Jason Donovan as Charlene and Scott Robinson on their wedding day was then shown, to which a nostalgic Kylie said: 'Oh look at the hair, we couldn't look more awkward.'
Hiya mum! Kylie clenched her fists with joy as Tim Phillips who plays Daniel Robinson spoke to her like she was his mum
Shock: Kylie found the clip hilarious and afterwards agreed that Daniel is a handsome young man
The Voice Australia judge then gasped and put her hands on her face as she was then shown a clip of her 'son' who had a message for her.
Tim rose to the challenge telling Kylie: 'Hi mum it's Daniel here – your son, I haven't heard from you in ages and someone just said you've been busy on The Voice and released a new album, you never told me that!
He added: 'Well I'm living on Ramsay Street now so give me a call, that would be great because I really miss you.'
Where have you been? Tim asked Kylie to give him a call because he missed her
Kylie looked genuinely moved by the message and said:'Ahhhh! That's brilliant.'
She then agreed that he's a handsome lad, saying: 'He is, well the offspring. That is so brilliant.
'I don't follow the show but maybe I should get back into it and keep an eye on my son and all that, that was just brilliant.'
The star then reminisced about Charlene saying: 'She did skip Ramsay street quite young, off she went in her Mini Cooper. It's good that the family's together.'
How they were: Scott [Jason Donovan] and Charlene's wedding in 1988 was one of the biggest nuptials ever to go down in soap opera history
