Howard University LOVED Sean "Diddy" Combs' commencement speech -- excuse us, Dr. Sean "Diddy" Combs -- even though some of us at TMZ found it to be a tad self-serving.
A Howard University rep told us the school found the speech "impassioned" and "inspirational."
While some might have found the speech Diddy-centric, the Howard rep liked the endless "I" references, saying Diddy "shared his personal journey and encouraged students to be fearless, to dream, to fully embrace their inner power as well as endure to the finish line despite obstacles."
Based on what we've heard, most students gave Diddy high marks.
As did his story about running the NYC Marathon, we're sure.
