NEW YORK (AP) — CBS' "The Young and the Restless" is ahead of the pack with 26 Daytime Emmy nominations, including best daytime drama.
The television academy announced the nominations on Thursday. The 41st annual awards will be presented June 22 in Beverly Hills, California.
"The Young and the Restless" will compete against CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" and NBC's "Days of Our Lives" for best soap, with The Online Network's "One Life to Live," which was resurrected after being axed by ABC, as the final nominee.
As Barbara Walters' retirement nears, the ABC legend learned that she was nominated for best talk-show host at "The View."
