One Direction really did have one heck of a weekend even by their standards last week after opening Radio One's One Big Weekend in Glasgow, which of course went down a storm, the boys also played Ireland's enormous Croke park stadium as part of their Where We Are world tour – a particularly special gig for Niall who got to play one of the biggest gigs of his career on his home turf.
So it's understandable that the 20-year-old took a moment to get all soppy on Twitter today after a friend sent him this pretty epic snap.

The 'Little Things' hitmaker has been particuarly snap-happy this afternoon, also uploading this picture of himself hanging out with some old mate's ahead of their Ireland show on Saturday, with the caption: "Sean , Darragh and I , in croke park ! Unbelievable weekend !"
