Glee's Darren Criss Teases Details Of Final Ever Season Of The Show
May 13th 2014, 16:28

Following the news that Glee won't be returning to our screens until next year, one of the show's regular cast members - Darren Criss - has teased us about what to expect.

Whilst the final episode of season five promised shockwaves, season six will be about nuclear bombs apparently as Darren told E! News:

"There's a nuclear bomb. Season 6 is actually about the post-apocalyptic nuclear fallout in Lima, Ohio... There's always a song and dance about the nuclear bomb."

Darren has teased details of the sixth season of Glee (WENN)

Meanwhile, Darren also opened up about his thoughts on the hit FOX network show coming to an end. Admitting that it was nice to be told that Glee would be ending after six seasons, the actor who plays the role of Blaine, went on to say:

"Not many television shows are afforded the luxury of knowing when you're going to end so that's nice.

"You have time to kind of wrap your brain around on it and get a little closure so I'm excited, but I'm definitely not running to the finish line by any means. I'm enjoying what I have left because I don't think it'll ever be like this ever again."

Lea Michele also gushed about Glee in a recent interview with E!. Revealing that she enjoyed filming the show, the actress who plays Rachel Berry said:

"It was a really wonderful season", before going on to make a small reference to her late beau Cory Monteith and saying: "You know things we're really difficult in the beginning of the year but I'm so thankful for my cast and the amazing crew.

"Last night was our last night filming and it was a really wonderful night so I'm beyond grateful for them and I can't wait for next year."
