It appears Derek star Ricky Gervais has some friends in high places after he shared his night out with Russell Crowe with his followers on Twitter.
In a series of posts (some have since been deleted) and pictures, Ricky let everyone know that he was having a good time with his Hollywood pal.
Teasing fans with his first tweet, Ricky tweeted: "Who am I getting drunk with at the moment?"

The picture showed the two with their arms around each other whilst sitting at a table in a restaurant.
According to the Mail Online, there were other pictures posted of the pair enjoying their night out with the pair having a Twitter conversation. In one tweet as a caption to a photo of them, Ricky wrote:
"Amazing over indulgent night with the stealth artist @russellcrowe."
And whilst Russell's last tweet was last night, Ricky was up this morning, admitting to feeling a bit rough.
Using the name of Russell's latest character, the Derek actor wrote: ".@JaneFallon & I feel a bit hungover this morning. And it's all Noah's fault :)"
