The 28-year-old radio personality, who is believed to be a huge fan of the show, has previously turned down the chance to take part but show bosses have approached him once again - according to latest reports.
"He was asked to take part last year but had to say no," a source revealed to The Sun. "Now bosses have approached him again and are keen for him to say yes."

"They think he would be great — and it doesn't hurt that he is young and good looking as well," the insider added. "He has a very loyal younger audience on his radio show and bosses would be thrilled if they followed Greg to Strictly too."
Meanwhile, it was recently confirmed that Bruce Forsyth would be stepping down from the weekly hosting duties on the hit BBC show; opting instead to focus solely on the Christmas and Children In Need specials.
Claudia Winkleman will now be joining Tess Daly to front the show later this year. The BBC also revealed that Tess will take over Bruce's role of introducing the dances and speaking to the judges, while Claudia will be with the contestants for the post-performance interviews and reactions to the scores.
