Katherine Heigl has dropped her $6 million lawsuit against a drugs company who she claimed used her image without her consent.
The Grey's Anatomy actress was pictured carrying bags with the shop's logo, which the store then used in promotional shots on their Twitter and Facebook accounts, without notifying the former Grey's Anatomy actress first.
However the two parties have now come to an agreement with Duane Reade being believed to have made an undisclosed donation to Katherine's animal welfare charity, the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, that the 35-year-old set up back in 1986 following the death of her brother in a fatal car crash.

The New York Post reports that Katherine's lawyer revealed: ''The parties have agreed to keep the terms of the agreement confidential''. At least a good cause comes out on top in the end!
Katherine recently hinted she could be open to making a return to Grey's Anatomy after exiting the show in a dramatic fashion off-screen back in 2010. "That's not up to me," she told E!Online, "That's not my decision. But I think the show is fantastic. I have so many wonderful memories. I had so many wonderful experiences. I have some really phenomenal friends and people like T.R. Knight who is like a brother to me, that I can't even imagine my life without."
