AMC hit fans with two major pieces of news at today's Comic-Con panel in San Diego:
- The Walking Dead Season 5 will premiere on Sunday, October 12.

Producers have said action will pick up immediately following the events on The Walking Dead Season 4, with many fans assuming our heroes and heroines are in deep with a group of cannibals. GULP!

"From the opening tease in the premiere onward, season 5 is without question the most ambitious and satisfying season this amazing team has ever crafted" said Charlie Collier, AMC president.
