If Bravo producers are looking to add more drama to the prime time, quasi-reality show soap opera that is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
A couple of actual soap opera stars would be one way to do it.
Just a week after we learned that Lisa Rinna will join the show, a source says that Eileen Davidson is now set to join her fellow daytime star next season.
The new stars will replace Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud.
Davidson, 55, and Rinna, 51, would be the two newcomers when it comes to the Real Housewives, but certainly not the entertainment industry.
Eileen joined Days of Our Lives in 1993 as the villainous Kristen DiMera alongside Lisa, who played Billie Reed from 1992-95. Both later reprised those roles.
Bravo has yet to officially confirm whether Davidson is in fact joining the cast next year, but it looks like a done deal given what we know so far.
Producers fired Gebbia and Giraud for failing to bring enough drama alongside Brandi Glanville, Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump and the like.
It's not clear how Rinna and Davidson would mesh with the remaining cast, but something tells us they know a thing or two about scripted soaps.
A match made in heaven if you think about it ...
Joanna Krupa is hotter than hot on The Real Housewives of Miami.
