Cameron Diaz has spoken about her decision to not become a mother - reasoning that the workload of parenthood isn't for her.
The 41-year-old told Esquire that not having a baby "[made] things easier" in the long-run.
"It's so much more work to have children. To have lives besides your own that you are responsible for – I didn't take that on," she explained.

"That did make things easier for me. A baby – that's all day, every day for eighteen years. I like protecting people, but I was never drawn to being a mother."
The Sex Tape actress (film, not actual sex tape) added that she has learned to chill out with age, and stop worrying about the prospect of getting older.
"I like being 41," she declared. "I love it. So much just falls away. Fear, mostly. It's the best age. That's when a woman knows how to work things, or she doesn't care about that anymore.
"You just stop being afraid. You don't worry about what men think. You just don't worry that time registers anything awful."
Once Sex Tape is released, Cameron's next movie is set to be the new production of hit musical Annie, in which she plays notorious villain Miss Hannigan.
