She sings, she dances—and she makes bras! Britney Spears announced on Wednesday that she will be releasing a line of intimate apparel for her fans. The Piece of Me singer took to her Twitter to share the first promo image for The Intimate Britney Spears apparel line.

"Coming very soon... The Intimate Collection, by yours truly. Just a peek at what's to come. Xo," Britney posted along with the sexy photo.
According to a press release, Britney's line of sleepwear and intimate apparel is being released in conjunction with Change Lingerie. The line will offer products such as lingerie sets, vintage-style bustiers, kimonos, and loungewear. The products will have a very feminine look, with crochet edges, satin ribbons and lace trim used throughout.
"Every woman should feel confident and beautiful in everything she puts on. My vision for The Intimate Britney Spears is to create pieces that are sexy, luxurious, and comfortable at the same time," Britney said in a statement. "I am excited to introduce this collection because I feel that we accomplished exactly that."

From her revealing stage costumes, to the provocative dance moves she became known for when she burst onto the pop music scene in 1999, Britney has never been known to shy away from showing off her sexy side. While she has put out a successful line of perfumes over the year, this marks her first time venturing into the clothing industry. In 2009, however, the National Enquirer reported that Britney was on the verge of signing a multimillion dollar deal with a lingerie company to endorse intimate apparel but it appears that deal fell through.
Brit's apparel line will be released in the United States and Canada on September 9, and September 26 in Europe.
