Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling managed to keep news that they are expecting their first baby together quiet for seven months; however, the Hollywood couple aren't having much success in keeping the gender under wraps and are rumoured to be welcoming a boy in the Spring.
Eagle-eyed observers have reported plenty of baby preparations taking place at the actress' Hollywood Hills mansion, where clothes, toys and furniture in blue have been delivered to fill the newborn's nursery.

While the couple have decided on a neutral colour scheme for the room, assistants have been seen dropping off blue linen, accessories and toys to Eva's home.
An insider told OK! US magazine."Ryan put together the crib, which is made out of bamboo, so it's environmentally friendly."
"Everything in the baby's room is sustainable. There will be monkeys on the walls," the source continued, adding: "They even have nicknamed the baby 'Monkey', which they think is adorable."

Eva and Ryan, who began dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of the Place Beyond The Pines, are yet to confirm they are expecting a child.
However, Ellen DeGeneres confirmed the Hollywood couple were set to become parents on Twitter earlier this month with a congratulatory tweet: "Congrats to @RyanGosling and @EvaMendes! That's going to be the most beautiful, bilingual, part-superhero, well-dressed, romantic baby ever," she wrote.
We doubt the notoriously private couple will announce the sex of their child until after the birth, but sources say Ryan is already eager to meet his son.

"Ryan is just so excited to have a son," the source added. "All he talks about is how he can't wait to teach him baseball and soccer. Eva thinks it's sweet."
