With his tight curls and cheeky smile, Henry Driver looked the image of his mother as they headed out for lunch on Thursday.
The five-year-old was full of energy as he turned a simple trip to lunch into a playful outing with Minnie.
Walking in Santa Monica, California, Henry frolicked in the sunshine and played with a bright red toy while Minnie looked on happily.

For their day out, the Good Will Hunting star went for a casual look and wore a red and blue blouse and white jeans.
Minnie seems to be building a penchant for her red and blue top, as she was also pictured out in it two days earlier.
The single mother carried a cream jacket in her arms and completed her outfit with beige, frayed moccasins and a pair of black sunglasses.

He also wore some grey trainers and white socks.
In a case of art imitating life Minnie is currently starring as a single mum Fiona in the NBC sitcom About a Boy, based on the blockbuster by Nick Hornby.
The book was famously made into a 2002 movie starring Hugh Grant, Nicholas Hoult, Toni Collette and Rachel Weisz.

In it, Minnie plays a single mother raising her son Marcus, 11, who strikes up a friendship with their wealthy next door neighbour, Will.
'I like that she is an amalgamation of a lot of people that I have come into contact with,' Minnie recently said on Huffpost Live.
'I love her, I think she's difficult and fragile, annoying and a really good-hearted mother.'
Minnie is a single mother herself. She welcomed son Henry into the world in September 2008 and only revealed in February 2012 that his father was a writer on her TV show, The Riches.
