Jennifer Lawrence finally has some positive news to celebrate in the midst of the nude photo scandal, as the Hollywood star has just entered the 2015 Guinness Book Of Records after becoming the highest-grossing action movie heroine thanks to her role in the Hunger Games franchise.
The 24-year-old Oscar-winner has starred as Katniss Everdeen in the popular action flick since 2012, going on to appear in the sequels Catching Fire and the upcoming Mockingjay episodes, and it's all paid off - literally - as Jennifer has now secured her place as the most lucrative movie heroine with the first two movies grossing a staggering £928 million worldwide so far. Wowza!
The second Hunger Games installment, Catching Fire, has also smashed records becoming the highest-grossing apocalyptic movie at the box office after taking in a whopping £520 million around the world when it hit cinemas in November 2013. Despite the huge box office numbers, Jennifer is still competing for the highest paid actress title, which is currently held by Gravity actress Sandra Bullock who is able to command $34 million per film.
With two more Hunger Games films, Mockingjay - Part 1 and Mockingjay - Part 2, scheduled for release later this year and in 2015, it's possible she'll be able to steal Sandra's crown and hold onto the highest-grossing heroine title for another year. The beauty also has a couple of other films in the pipeline for release with Joy expected to hit cinemas in December 2015 while she's also reprising her role as Raven in X-Men: Apocalypse, due in 2016.

The record-breaking news will no doubt come as a much-welcome reprieve from the current headlines surrounding the naked photos showing Jennifer in a series of compromising positions, which leaked online earlier this week after an underground group hacked into the iCloud accounts of several high-profile celebrities.
Jennifer isn't the only famous name to enter the Guinness Book though as One Direction have also been announced as the first act to debut at number one with three albums while Miley Cyrus is the most searched for pop star on the planet - no doubt thanks to her twerking antics, raunchy music videos and, well, just being Miley Cyrus.
