It's not long until the fashion week seasons and Kendall Jenner has been spotted in New York hitting castings as she prepares for a busy month. She might be a huge reality TV star and already have her own clothing line, but when it comes to the fashion world Jenner is still a newbie and she's got to work for her spot on the runway like everyone else.
The 18 year-old looked casual as she headed out in New York on Wednesday in a cute stripped mini-dress and heeled plimpsols, keeping things on trend but relaxed for her go-sees.
It wasn't all work though as she also was spotted hitting Barneys, for a bit of retail therapy. This is only Kendall's second season as a runway model, she debuted at Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2014 show in February before going on to walk for Givenchy in Paris, Giles Deacon in London.

We think they'll be big things for Kendall this season. She's already walked for Chanel at the Haute Couture show in June, so uncle Karl could well select her again for his ready-to-wear show. Balmain is also another cert as chief designer Olivier Rousteing has become close pals with Kendall's sister Kim. He not only attended her wedding in May but designed a custom pearl and jewel encrusted minidress for her bachelorette party.
Earlier this Summer Kendall and Kim were guests of honour at a Balmain event, wearing outfits styled by Rousteing and arriving on his arm.
Topshop in London could also well be on her list. Last season she sat front row with Kate Moss, Anna Wintour and Arcadia owner Sir Phillip Green. It's not too much of a stretch to think she could make the transition to the runway. Leggy and athletic, Kendall's the perfect all American girl for the high street brand, which she often wears herself.
