Robin Williams will be remembered by some of the work colleagues who knew him best with his Mork & Mindy co-star Pam Dawber, Whoopi Goldberg and Jerry Stiller, among those who will feature in a TV tribute which is set to air next week.
The legendary Mrs. Doubtfire star died tragically on August 11 after taking his own life at his Los Angeles home, prompting an outpouring of tributes from devastated fans and celebrities alike, but he will now be honoured in a TV tribute which will air on PBS next week and it will see Dawber, who starred alongside Robin in the iconic Mork & Mindy comedy series between 1978 and 1982, speak out officially for the first time since his death.
Pawber initially reacted to the shocking news with a short statement which read: "I am completely and totally devastated. What more can be said?" Robin, who was 63 at the time of his death, remained close friends with Dawber, 62, over the years and she even reunited with him on screen earlier this year for a cameo on his CBS sitcom The Crazy Ones, before its cancellation.
Titled Robin Williams Remembered, the documentary will also see The View host Whoopi Goldberg, who starred with the actor in Everyone's Hero, his Seize The Day co-star Jerry Stiller, Happy Days star Henry Winkler and Laverne & Shirley actress Penny Marshall, share their memories and kind words about the iconic and versatile actor who has become a firm staple in Hollywood history.

Speaking about the upcoming production, which will also feature one of Robin's last filmed interviews, executive producer Steve Boettcher said in a statement: "We were fortunate to sit down with Robin Williams quite recently for the 'Pioneers of Television' series. We wanted to share with PBS viewers the Robin that we saw - the very unassuming, caring, genuine and gentle man who took his acting seriously, but was able to make others laugh. We hope this special provides more insight to this incredible man, in his own words."
Robin Williams Remembered will air on PBS on September 9.
