Diddy, in honor of Throwback Thursday a.k.a. #TBT, posted a classic photograph of himself with his late friend and rap legend, the Notorious B.I.G.
Now that's what we call throwing it back ... to the days of the pager.
"#TBT Ain't nobody seen this one…" he captioned the image.
"Whats that in my hand a beeper?!?! Ooohhhhh Sh!t!!!"
Diddy, then Puffy Daddy, holds his quintessential '90s pager in his hands as he dons an all-white outfit and a sparkling chain. Next to him? Big Poppa.
Puff signed Biggie to his label before he became famous, and the two were close until the latter's life was cut short in a drive-by shooting in 1997.
The late Notorious B.I.G., wearing in a navy blue Kangol hat, printed short-sleeve collared shirt, and blue jeans in the photo above, was just 24 years old.
At the time he had released just one studio album, 1994's Ready to Die. His second album, the eerily titled Life After Death, was released posthumously.
Biggie had been promoting its upcoming release when he was murdered in a shooting that - like his rival Tupac Shakur's slaying - remains unsolved.
Because Tupac is alive if you believe Suge Knight. Which we don't, but it's worth noting that the deaths have spawned conspiracy theories and urban legends.
Following his friend's demise, Diddy worked to continue his legacy, recording the tribute "I'll Be Missing You" in 1997 with B.I.G.'s former wife Faith Evans.
Greatest throwback photo ever? Look at this old school picture of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson!
