Madonna is known as the Queen of Pop, but she's quickly becoming the Queen of Instagram Controversy as well! The Material Girl, who will turn 56 on August 16, celebrated her birthday a little early by posting a very risqué photo of herself to her Instagram account on Tuesday. The photo, which shows the bottom half of Madonna's body, which is dressed in a skimpy leotard, leaves little to the imagination. (Click here to see the NSFW photo!)
Many of Madonna's followers on the social media site were not thrilled with the photo, which left the pop star a little too exposed.
"Why do we need to see your vagina skin? I mean I love Madonna but not what I needed to see at 8am this morning," one follower commented.

Madonna was criticized for posting what many called "tasteless" photos relating to the recent Israel-Gaza conflict. The singer posted a photo of herself posing with two shirtless men, one of which had a Star of David painted on his chest, while the other had the star-and-crescent symbol of Islam drawn on his.
"No Separation! We all bleed the same color! #ceasefire #peaceinthemiddleeast #livingforlove," she captioned the photo, before following it up with yet another photo of the men holding hands to celebrate a temporary ceasefire in the region.
