Hollywood can't get enough of Chris Pratt right now, with the actor graduating from chubby Andy on Parks and Red to ripped leading man thanks to Marvel's new space epic Guardians of the Galaxy. And tapping into the buzz surrounding the star, is the director behind Chris' 2015 summer blockbuster Jurassic World.
Chris leads Colin Trevorrow's new chapter in the Jurassic Park saga, which is set 22 years after the events of the original Steven Spielberg movie.
We've so far only had a couple of images of Chris and co-stars including Bryce Dallas Howard, but Trevorrow has jumped on the Guardians of the Galaxy fever by releasing a new image of leading man Chris.
Tweeting the snap last night, the director wrote: See you next summer Star-Lord," in reference to Chris' GOTG character.
The new Jurassic World still of Chris Pratt
With a year until the release of Jurassic World we don't know a whole lot apart from the premise that two decades on from the original movie, John Hammond finally has his dream of a Jurassic World park.
As Chris told Total Film during the GOTG promo rounds last week: "I'm excited about people seeing the park, John Hammond's dream is up and running and there's now a park with 20,000 visitors a day. Everything he dreamed of and more is in this park, and you will see it as an audience member when you see this movie. And you will see it get torn down!"
Bryce Dallas Howard also stars in the 2015 movie
Chris plays Owen, a member of Jurassic World's on-site staff, who conducts behavioral research on the Velociraptors, the ones who caused so much havoc in the original films. But with visitor numbers to the park declining Owen's bosses bring in a new attraction to jump start the business, with, of course, deadly consequences.
After a series of disagreements between Universal and the team over the direction of the movie, the film has finally got a release date of June, 2015, meaning Chris should have another summer box office hit to add to his CV.

The actor has gushed that he couldn't be more excited to lead the fourth movie in the franchise, admitting to Total Film that "I'm a huge fan, one of the most influential movies for me as a kid was Jurassic, it's very surreal. But that's kind of been a theme recently, these moment which were very surreal are becoming real."

Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins are two newcomers to the franchise
