Jessie J has been having a good old moan about us Brits, arguing that we just don't "appreciate" the songstress's voice enough like they do across the pond.
Despite performing at the Olympics closing ceremony, scoring a string of number singles and being picked to judge the UK version of 'The Voice' according to the singe we just don't praise her talents enough instead, focusing more on her private life
But apparently it's a different story over in the States where she's currently enjoying more success than ever before.
During an interview with the Daily Mail chart-topping star bluntly told them that she doesn't feel she gets enough credit for her talents in her homeland. We're not really sure what more she'd like us to do but according to Jessie: "In America they see me as a singer whereas here I feel that people don't appreciate my voice. I've dedicated my life to singing and I want it to be taken seriously.

"Here it seems that all people want to know is what I've had for breakfast and who I'm sleeping with." Do you think that's a fair point?
She also explained that sometimes her mouth can land her in hot water during interviews where she's perhaps too open with regards to her personal life.
"Sometimes I don't know when to stop. Sometimes I should just say nothing, but I can't help myself and make some big statement when saying nothing would be much more appropriate."

Last night Jessie opened one of the biggest events on the musical calendar in the States (you know,where she's really appreciated) joining forces with best gal pals Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grnade for their powerhouse all-female anthem 'Bang Bang,' which secured the Brit her second US Top ten single on the billboard Hot 100 earlier this month.
The ladies brought the house down with their show-stopping set which marked the track's first televised live performance and also one of the highlights of the 'Domino' hitmaker's career to date.

Last week she announced details of her third album 'Sweet Talker' accompanied with an ab-tastic cover art, which sees Jessie looking incredible flaunting her slamming body in nothing more than some super glam underwear.
The 26-year-old revealed she's recorded several songs not written by her for the first time with the new record which sees an impressive team of super-producers in the credit list including The-Dream, 2 Chainz, Diplo, Max martin and Ammo.
Let's just hope the album isn't unappreciated over here, eh?
