Pauly said bye bye to his famous blowout...
Jersey Shore fans are mourning the loss of what was possibly the show's most-popular "cast member": DJ Pauly D's infamous blowout hairdo. Pauly has traded his gelled-to-perfection 'do, which he was sporting long before his days on Jersey Shore, for a much more clean-cut look. The reality star announced that he got the makeover to honor the release of his new single 'No Tomorrow.'
Pauly, who, in 2009 claimed it took over 25 minutes a day to achieve his signature blowout look, tweeted a photo of the single's cover art on Monday, showing off his new haircut. A day earlier, Pauly told his Twitter followers that his blowout's days were numbered.

"NO MORE BLOWOUT ! New Record And New HairCut Out Tomorrow !!! #RIPBlowOut #ICutMyHair #Ahhhhh," he posted on Sunday.
Pauly's Jersey Shore roommates have long-ditched the signature looks they wore during their time on the reality show. Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi has traded in her trademark "pouf" for classier red locks, while Jenni 'JWoWW' Farley ditched her dark hair for lighter blond tresses earlier this month.

However, Pauly, who has been making his living by DJ'ing since the show ended in 2012, may see a dip in popularity due to him ditching his signature hedgehog-like hair. If so, it certainly won't be the first time a star has had their career suffer after they changed their look.
In 2010, Katherine Heigl became nearly unrecognizable when she dyed her trademark blond locks a dark brown shade for her role in the film One For the Money. Keri Russell, who was known for her long, curly hair while starring on the show Felicity, saw her career take a nosedive—and had her show cancelled after ratings declined—after she sheared off her locks in 1999.
Luckily, Pauly seems to be getting an overwhelmingly positive response to his new 'do. One of his Jersey Shore roommates tweeted their approval of Pauly's new look on Monday.
"I'm diggin the new do & song roomie," Sammy "Sweatheart" Giancola wrote.
