Taylor wanted the 17-year-old fan to enjoy a fancy dinner...
Taylor Swift is known to be generous with her time. The singer, who earlier this week serenaded a young cancer patient at Boston Children's Hospital, is often seen working with various charitable organizations. However, Taylor proved that she could also be generous with her money when she randomly decided to spring for a young fan's birthday dinner.
According to Huffington Post, 17-year-old Micaela Rodriguez was rowing a boat with her friends at New York City's Central Park when Micaela's friends recognized the singer, who was at the park doing an interview with Rolling Stone. The teens alerted Taylor that it was Micaela's 17th birthday that day.

"She asked me how my birthday was going and I said, 'Oh, we're going to go to Chipotle!'" Micaela told Huffington Post. "The interviewer from Rolling Stone gave her a look like 'C'mon, Taylor.' So, she walked to the interviewer and walked back and opened her purse. ..She said, 'No, you and your friends should go have a fancy birthday dinner. It's on me. Go enjoy yourself.' Then she put the money in my hand and closed my hand and said 'Happy birthday.'"
The kind gesture was captured by a gang of paparazzi photographers who just happened to be following Taylor at the time.
Micaela told the site that Taylor "looked like a porcelain doll" and that she has yet to spend her $90 yet. In fact, she has other plans for the money.
"I think I'm gonna frame it in my room," she said.
