Zooey may have already moved on to someone new...

Just weeks after she was spotted hugging and kissing a producer on the set of her new movie, Zooey Deschanel has ended her relationship with writer/director Jamie Linden, Us Weekly reports. The New Girl actress, who was photographed getting cozy with Jacob Pechenik on the set of her upcoming movie Rock The Kasbah, had been dating Jamie for two years.

Zooey wrapped the movie on July 30, but appears to be maintaining close contact with Jacob. The couple was spotted on a lunch date last weekend, Us Weekly reports.

In July, Zooey discussed her current views on marriage and having a family with InStyle magazine, saying that she is constantly asked when she will have children.

"When I was married, that was the first thing people wanted to know," Zooey, who divorced Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard in 2012, said. "Like every woman is dying to give birth! I don't think so…Stuck in this 1950s ideal of how a woman should live her life. That's not something that defines me at all."

She also explained to the magazine why she has always made it a rule not to talk about her relationships.

"You have to be careful what you reveal," Zooey said. "You invite people in and can't kick them out."

Zooey appears to be doing her best to keep her budding relationship with Jacob private. She has yet not confirmed that she is dating the producer, who has served on films such as 2013's Jobs and Before Midnight.
