Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William took part in their first royal walkabout in New Zealand on Thursday morning and it looks like the locals of Bleinheim are head over heels for the royal couple.
The Duchess opted for a £2,345 cornflower blue Alexander McQueen coat dress for a wreath laying ceremony alongside her husband. Keeping her locks tied back in a ponytail, Kate teamed the look with sapphire and diamond drop earrings and navy blue heels.
The ceremony took place at the war memorial in Seymour Square and is part of the commemoration events taking place to mark 100 years since the outbreak of World War I, in July. Around 5,000 people had gathered to catch a glimpse of the royal couple with some taking their places at 4:30am to make sure they had the best spot.

Kate and William chatted to veterans at the ceremony, with one, Wilton Sterritt, showing her a picture of himself and Kate's grandfather-in-law Prince Philip. The photo was taken at the 1874 Christchurch Commonwealth Games with Kate in fits of giggles over the snap.
Later the 90 year-old seemed pretty enamored by the future queen, telling Hello magazine: "Lovely, isn't she, very natural,"
