Jay Z may be eating his words soon as the hip-hop mogul has been reprimanded by a Lacrosse team who are furious he described the sport as "soft" when hitting out at his rap rival Drake on a new diss record.
The 43-year-old appeared to throw another jab at the 'Draft Days' rapper this week on DJ Khaled's new track 'They Don't Love You No More,' which features the likes of Rick Ross and French Montana and sees Jay Z claim that Drake "is as soft as a lacrosse team." Ouch!

It seems that Jay Z's lyrics weren't just a diss towards the Young Money rapper but also the Canadian sport prompting the Major League Lacrosse to express their fury.
In a statement released to MTV News, the MLL said: "Lacrosse is often called the fastest sport on two feet. Players are on the field dodging and shooting balls at over 100 miles per hour.

"With that said we don't think Jay-Z knows what he's talking about when he calls Lacrosse 'soft'. I can guarantee you it is anything but a 'soft' sport.' Mr Carter would not last one minute on a lacrosse field during a match and he is more than welcome to come to any of our games and try."
It's doubtful that Jay Z will agree to the challenge!
Jay Z and Drake's feud has been raging on for several months after the 'Started From The Bottom' rapper claimed he was bored of the 'Holy Grail' hitmaker rapping about eating "fondue," while Jay retorted by referring to him as "Mrs. Drizzy" on another diss track.
