Speaking during an appearance on CBS' This Morning today, Oprah said: "Of course I've been following this story. It feels like a plantation mentality in the 21st century, in 2014, it just doesn't fit. And, I'm waiting to see what they're going to do, because something has to be done.
"Something has to be done…that needs to happen, like, now," she added.
TMZ caught up with the 60-year-old after her appearance on the show and she again reiterated her stance against Sterling's alleged point of view, saying: "We're all off the plantation. The plantation days are over.
"No, I won't be buying the Clippers, but I hear Magic Johnson might be. I'm not putting it out there, I heard it. That would be really cool."
