Myleene Klass Left Terrified For Own Safety After Thief Robs Mother And Sister In London Attack
Apr 10th 2014, 08:45

Myleene Klass has understandably been left terrified for her own safety after it was recently revealed that her mother and sister had been victims of a horrendous London attack.

Klass used her position on the Loose Women panel to urge members of the public to help find the man who dragged her 67-year-old mother along the floor and attempted to steal her sister's handbag and she has now also said that she fears for her own safety after the whole thing.

Speaking out on the ITV show, the TV presenter said: "I am very, very angry about it because he chose a very good target. My mum is only five foot two."

She added: "I try and keep my wits about me and I am also always with my two girls. I make sure we have this bubble around us but it's always the unexpected that's hard to prepare for."

Police have since released CCTV images of a man that they are keen to trace.

Myleene continued to say of the image: "It's a very good photo, if you knew that guy and were looking at this photo you'd know who this is."

Sharing her feelings about the attack, she added: "You know how I feel about this. Anyone that this has happened to themselves or their mums, would feel the way I feel. They put up a fight but what he did to them was utterly horrific. He dragged them both along the ground."

Explaining the impact the attack had on her mum and sister, she said: "You almost build a prison within yourself. Your mum looks after you for so long but you now have to look after your mum and make sure she's ok. I rang her up, 'Are you alright?' and she cries very easily. She came round with a torch for me and some spray for me. She's just on edge."

Myleene also revealed that her mum didn't like her talking about the attack because she worried about 'repercussions'.

Asked whether Myleene worried about crime and something happening to her, she said: "I think as a woman living in London, you're naturally aware. You don't want to scaremonger and you don't want everyone to live in fear."
