One couple introduced the couple their daughter Emily, who was born nine days after Prince George and joked how she could potentially date the little boy, who was not with his parents on the day out.
"We mentioned how well-paired she and George would be in the future," Karen Dreaver claimed, she went on: "William replied, 'There have been a few babies touted to us!'"
"He could see the funny side," she added. We doubt she was joking! Karen said she was pretty impressed by the royal couple, especially William's baby knowledge.
"We were talking about their similar ages of the babies and he said how much fun they were," Karen, said. "He was very personable."
Kate reportedly spoke with some mothers of their experiences balancing work with pregnancy and whether they'd taken maternity leave. "She said when George was much younger William was away a lot in the beginning - but that you get by."
Melissa Tillbury another military wife said, "Madeleine had been getting sleepy and Kate had some flowers to entertain her."
"She was really good with Madeleine," she said of Kate's abilities with the baby. "She spoke to us about the balance, about having the time as a couple and with the baby."
