People may have been quick to start "tension" rumours about Strictly Come Dancing 2014 stars Pixie Lott and Frankie Sandford, with the duo both already knowing how to bust a move, but Pixie was keen to set the record straight about the claims when EntertainmentWise caught up with her at last night's Scottish Fashion Awards.
The show, which could possibly boast the most glamorous line-up yet, kicks off this Saturday, and ahead of Pixie's debut, we caught up with her to find out some behind-the-scenes goss...
Who's your main competition on the show?
"I don't know; everyone is actually really amazing and picked up the steps really quick and also I think everyone just seems like they want to have fun and have a good time."

Apparently there has been tension between you and Frankie...?
"There's been no tension at all, we're good friends. We've been friends for years. I met Frankie way back when I was 18 because I supported the Saturdays then I released my single and I've seen them at loads of events, and they've been around for a few years, so have I. So yeah she's a good friend."
How does your boyfriend feel about you getting close with your dance partner?
"There is some sexy dance moves but it's all acting, you've just got to get into the character and it's all acting at the end of the day."
Do you think you've got an advantage as a performer?
"I don't think I feel like I've got one up on everyone but I'm looking forward to getting back into dancing because it is really fun and it will be a new thing to learn all these amazing dances that I've seen the pros do and they just look incredible."

Are you a competitive person?
"What I wanted to do before I went into the competition was have a new experience and just have fun and push myself as a performer and no matter what happens just enjoy myself and meet new friends, because I've never really stepped outside of my school friends group, so I think it will be fun to meet new friends and we're all going through the same thing. So it does just bring you closer."
Is there someone in particular that you've bonded with?
"I was so pleased to hear that people I already knew were doing it, like Frankie. When I found out she was doing it I was like 'yes I already know someone!' Thom Evans I already knew, Mark Wright, Simon Webb, so there was a few that I'd already met so I was really pleased that it wasn't like turning up on the first day of school where you don't know anyone."
Are you going to be wearing anything particularly sexy?
"I've tried on my first costume and so much detail goes into it, it's like beading. I've never worn anything like that before and it's so vibrant and they customise to your figure but I don't know if you get to keep the costumes afterwards though which is a shame."
Have you been watching X Factor?
"I saw a tiny performance last night of a blonde lady but I love Cheryl, I think she's just beautiful and obviously just lovely to look at."
Have you met her?
"I did a guest judge day a few years ago, so I was with Cheryl and Simon and Louis and she was just the loveliest lady, I'm definitely team Cheryl."
Who is your favourite judge on Strictly?
"I love Darcy Bussell, I mean how amazing to be so well known as a ballet dancer. She's the only ballet dancer I've heard of and ballet is such a discipline so it's incredible she's a judge, I think that's really cool."
