Jessica Simpson Muddled Marriage Vows During 'Magical' Wedding To Eric Johnson?
Jul 7th 2014, 13:33

Jessica Simpson has waited four years to tie the knot with her NFL beau Eric Johnson so it's no surprise that she got nervous when the moment finally came on Saturday, with a source revealing that she stumbled across her words when saying her vows – and her hubby was no better either.

After being forced to put their nuptials on hold twice in the past, the 33-year-old finally walked down the aisle at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California, on Saturday afternoon to marry Eric, 34.

As the couple's family and friends, including celeb pals Jessica Alba, Donald Faison, Evan Ross and Jess' sister Ashlee Simpson, watched on, it seems nerves got the better of the loved-up couple as they mixed up their vows.

A source told E! Online, that Eric got choked up when reciting his vows and had to start his over again while Jessica was perhaps even more overwhelmed with emotion that she actually said her own name instead of Eric's.

Fortunately, Jessica laughed it off along with everyone else and simply started over.

Sharing details of the reception, an insider said: "It was very emotional. Jessica looked very happy on her wedding day."

Another one of the 250 guests also added: "You better believe it was, 'Wow!' That freakin' thing must have cost a million bucks. It was fantastic."

The smitten couple released a statement not long after the wedding, telling: "We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment. To say 'I do' in front of family, friends and, most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives.

"The whole weekend was magical for us. We feel complete."
