Guy Pearce Wants To 'Punch Other Actors In The Face' But Not 'Amazing' Robert Pattinson
Jul 1st 2014, 16:10

Robert Pattinson has struck up quite the bromance with his Rover co-star Guy Pearce who couldn't have nicer things to say about the former Twilight star, describing him as "amazing", while admitting he has wanted to "punch" other actors who have behaved like divas in the past.

The pair recently teamed up for crime flick The Rover, marking one of Rob's first forays into Hollywood since wrapping up the blockbuster vampire franchise in 2012, and Guy, 46, admits he was pleasantly surprised by the young star's talents on set of their movie.

"He's had a very different existence as an actor than I did," Guy told Total Film.

"He's just this megastar. I don't know if he struggles with feeling like a valuable actor, as I did, but he shouldn't, if he does. He's amazing." How lovely!

Recalling the moment he realised the 28-year-old actor was a true star, Guy added: "On the second day he was doing the scene where he falls out of the truck and he's sitting there bleeding and I was watching it on the monitor.

"I looked at [director] David [Michôd] and said, 'Wow, he's really good, isn't he?' What he was offering up with regard to the power shifts between us meant I had such great stuff to work with."

Although, it's not always been a pleasure working with actors as Guy says the amount of divas he's come across throughout his career is "ridiculous."

"Do I want to punch them in the face? Yeah, sometimes!" Guy said.

"If I can be helpful, I will be. If I can't, then I just won't bother. Or I'll have a conversation with somebody. But if it's not affecting me too badly, and it would change our dynamic to bring something up, then it's best not to do it."
