Channing Tatum is back and ready to bare all once again in Magic Mike XXL, a.k.a. Magic Mike 2. Filming for which is currently underway, we now know.
Oh, it's on all right. Steven Soderbergh, who directed the original Magic Mike film, Tweeted a photo of the sequel's clapper board Sunday, writing, "It's ON!"
If you haven't seen the original movie, or just want to watch Magic Mike online a second time, we've got you covered. As for the sequel coming next July?
It's reportedly a road-trip film that leads to a stripper convention, "which really exists! It's a real-live thing," Tatum's co-star Matt Bomer told Ellen DeGeneres.
"Only the best of the best make it. It's a strip-off to the death! It is a stripper convention ... I can imagine if you lock those doors, things can get a little rowdy."
As if that wasn't enough of a ringing endorsement, the film's handsome leading man upped the ante when it comes to hyping the Magic Mike sequel.
"We want there to be a s--t ton of fun," Tatum told MTV. "A s--t ton of ridiculous stuff that you would never see in a movie, on the face of the earth, ever again."
Soderberg will be serving as director of photography, camera operator and film editor, while his assistant director Gregory Jacobs will helm the new movie.
