For some reason, Demi Lovato believes Kim Kardashian is a fashion revolutionary.
But the singer is now set to compete with the reality star in the world of beauty, as Demi tells People that she's coming out with very own skincare line. Hooray!
It will be called Devonne by Demi and it will be available this December.
"Ever since I was a young girl, I have always been about skincare for some reason," Lovato says. "When you take time to do things for yourself like care for your skin, you feel the most confident."
And Demi, of course, is all about self-confidence.
She spent time in rehab in 2010 - for drug and eating disorder issues that can be both be traced back to a lack of self-esteem - and has dedicated her life since to helping others in similar situations.
Lovato's skincare starter kit (whose proceeds will benefit the Lovato Treatment Scholarship) starts at $29.99 for a monthly subscription.
Lovato - who kicks off her World Tour on Saturday - says she wanted to make something that's both effective AND empowering.
"I am trying to help young girls and women all over the world love and accept themselves when they look in the mirror," says the singer. "I can guarantee that if you take care of your skin and use products that work, you'll find that confidence."
This is an extreme close up of Demi Lovato and her freckles. The singer isn't hiding behind any makeup.
