David Lucado, Britney Spears' booted boyfriend, is still swearing up and down that he didn't cheat on the pop star ... using the "we were on a break" theory.
The singer's former love of 18 months was videotaped grinding on and making out with another chick recently, leading Brit to kick him to the curb, hard.
Dave says the incident took place after she dumped him, however, and before they reconciled. All in the span of just 48 hours last month. Let's explain ...
According to the man himself, Britney Spears dumped David Lucado August 6 via text. Spears, he says, sent him a message saying, "I'm done with you."
Sources close to the couple report they had been arguing over the "outside influences," like her conservators and team, who basically control Britney's life.
Lucado says the very next night, August 7, is when he went out partying and was caught locking lips with some other chick. The video was shopped around.
Britney's father got wind of it and negotiated the purchase of the hookup video over the next several weeks. Meanwhile, David says he and Brit reconciled.
Conveniently, he claims they patched things up only one day later, on August 8. Whenever he got with the other girl, clearly he never told Brit about it.
Lucado is reportedly desperate to get in touch with Britney to explain his side of the story, but he's been banned from her life, so that will not be happening.
Those "outside influences," a.k.a. her dad ad everyone else around Spears, are dead set against it, and she seems like she's looking for a new hot guy anyway.
Sorry Dave. You had your shot and you blew it, bruh, even if your "break" timeline is 100% correct. Now go back to the hole from whence you came.
