Allison Williams doesn't ever want to grow up.
Think about it: she stars on a show titled Girls, even though she's 26 years old. And she'll star this December as Peter Pan, a member of The Lost Boys.
Via The Today Show, NBC has released the first photo of Williams in this iconic role, as she's sporting a green vest and very short hair while sitting aloft on a sail boat.
Looks like someone is getting ready to crow, wouldn't you say?
"The transformation begins! My first shoot as Pan," Williams wrote as a caption to the photo. "Fun fact: I was all ready to cut my hair, then was told by the folks who actually know what they're doing that a wig works better for everybody."
The NBC special is being produced by the industry veterans behind The Sound of Music Live!, which starred Carrie Underwood and which struck ratings gold.
Allison Williams, of course, does not have the same name recognition as Underwood.
