Angelina Jolie wasn't the only one walking down the aisle this week as her ex-girlfriend Jenny Shimizu also entered the world of wedded bliss just days after her famous ex married longtime partner Brad Pitt.
For those who may not remember the Maleficent actress' pre-Brangelina days, Ange, 39, dated Jenny, 47, in the late '90s after they starred alongside each other in 1996's Foxfire, but it wasn't meant to be, leaving Angelina to find love with Brad whom she married last weekend in France. It seems love is in the air for the former lovers as photos have emerged of Jenny also getting married to brand consultant Michelle Harper on August 22, meaning she beat Angelina to the alter.
Speaking about Jenny in a 1997 interview with Girlfriends magazine, Ange explained how her romance with the former Calvin Klein model blossomed and failed: "I would probably have married Jenny if I hadn't married my [first] husband. I fell in love with her the first second I saw her. Actually, I saw when she was being cast in 'Foxfire,' and I thought she had just read for my part. I thought I was going to lose the job. I said to myself, 'Oh, my God, that's Legs.' She's great. We had a lot of fun."
As fate would have it, Jenny would go on to meet Michelle in 2012 at a party, leading to them tying the knot last month. Gushing about her now-wife to the New York Times, Jenny said: "I didn't believe it myself until I saw it. It's like so many things about her. There are these misconceptions and generalisations that don't fit this person who is full of spirit and down-to-earthiness."

Angelina is no doubt happy for her ex with her now enjoying life as Mrs. Pitt, with the couple, who have been together for almost 10 years, finally getting married in an intimate ceremony which took place at the Chateau Miraval on Saturday with their close family members present, including Brad's parents, siblings, and their brood of six children who all played a part in the wedding.
Gushing over the nuptials, Brad and Ange said in an interview with Hello! magazine after the wedding: "It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter. It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."
Ah, don't you just love a happy ever-after! Congrats to both couples!
